The Demo Won't Launch???

I have just downloaded the demo and it didn't launch. Does anybody have the same problem? I wanna know if it's about my computer or if the problem is with the game.

Wow this is so upsetting, it seriously shouldn't be like this. It's the developer's responsibility to fix the game.

If your graphics card doesn't support Vulkan you can't even play the game lol.

How can i know if my graphics card supports vulkan or not?

Yeah right rtx2070s doesn't support vulkan. Blame anyone except developers.

Make sure all the drivers are up-to-date, as well. The game initially, checks your system for latest video drivers.

Same here. Won't launch. I meet the recommended specs and have the latest drivers inkl. Vulkan => trash demo + trash support = will not spend my money on that.

Did you fully uninstall the old driver? You need to do that in safe mode with DDU and then do a clean install of the new driver. That replaces the Vulkan runtime library.

I'm having the same problem, ADM-A9 9425 RADEON R5 , 5 COMPUTE CORES 2C + 3G 3.10 GHz
(I am a complete moron when it comes to tech) but I thought it should be enough for the game to work but it won't

Same for Radeons I would imagine. Install a new driver. Worth a go anyway.

In the first start of the game i had a CPU load of 100 % in all cpu cores for a couple of minutes while loading the game. This is very untypical for a game. Had this only in the first start of the game.

It is only a small idea and maybe it is b u l l $ h l t... but all of you who are not able to launch the game, check out if your CPU can reach 100 % load on all cores and threads.

Yes, CPU usage was weird. I got 100% on all 12 cores on my Ryzen 5 2600, which is ludicrous. AC: Odyssey is a ridiculously CPU intensive game running with Denuvo doublechecking your every input and it tops at 85% CPU usage or so, during peaks.

As for the demo: for me it would't run after downloading, a dialog box opened in the background and I had to look for it to see what it was about: it was telling me to update my video card driver. After that, game runs smoothly on my RX 580 (more so than I would've imagined, high settings)
