Playstation Button Prompts?
So for the HR demo, when plugging in a DS4 it worked perfectly but here I am only getting Xbox Controller prompts? Any way to change this? Demo is awesome!

Yeah, use wire to connect your gamepad.

My DS4 just goes into charge mode when I connect with a cable. Is there a difference between the controllers you get with the consoles and the ones you buy separately? I know there used to be with the original PS1 ones.

Check steam controller settings.. Turn off DS4 support in steam setting. Should work then.. Mine did. But I had unplug other usb devices (eg my Logitech G29 steering wheel)

-R7-2700x/16GB/GXT1080ti/SSD/Win 7 64 bit (DBH Ran flawless for me)

edit: yes, you will get ps prompt if you connect with Dinput (wired and without steam ds4 support nor ds4windows)

Np, Happy to help :)
Hi! i'm having a similar issue, from what i tried all micro usb cables only cause my controller to charge instead of connect, not to mention detroit become human seems to be the only game to not recognize it as a playstation controller, Persona 5 royal for example switches to the ds4 button layout but detroit seems to be dead set that i am using a xbox controller, any advice?

I think I may just have used an Xbox controller in the end. I looked on Nexus Mods and there isn't a mod for PS prompts. Did you try disabling the controller support in Steam as mentioned above? Been so long since I played this game I've forgotten what I tried.

I also looked on Nexus first haha but yeah, i did disable controller support in steam but then the game would not take inputs from my controller at all, playing the game without the DS4 prompts just feels wrong

Some things just weren't meant to be I guess. I'm not even sure if Quantic Dream still exist,
