Otherwiiise, I've somewhat orientated myself with the controls.
i don't really understand whats the problem, the helicopter controls in this game are really easy...
and if you have a gamepad nearby just use that instead, i found that using an xbox 360 controller on gta iv in pc makes driving and flying helicopters much easier
Plus, no one's really told me how to skip missions yet.
One hand to do up/right, one hand on the forward/back controls (not to much or you'll nose dive!), and one hand on the mouse for missiles and guns. Easy!
EXACTLY that was the problem for me, too ...
You'd need 3 hands to get the mission right on PC xD
I never recommend cheating, but maybe it'll help you learn to fly the thing, or you can just skip past it and use the 'airbrake' to move the plane without physics.
just so you guys know, even though this post is from 2013, I still haven't gotten passed this mission yet.
Unless you have at least 3 hands and arms, it's much easier with a controller. This is by far the most brutal mission out of all the GTAIV era games with a keyboard and mouse.
It's easy if you re-map your controls sure, but some of us are too lazy to do that as you are well aware.......
