NORCO

Appreciate your work.
I just finished the game on Game Pass and will be buying it with the art book and soundtrack soon.

I wanted to thank everyone who worked on this game for creating such an amazing experience. I sought out more information on its background and discovered an interview Yuts did on "Gaming in the Wild." The amount of research and attention to detail in this game is amazing. Listening to Yuts talk about Norco's rich history and his academia related to it was fascinating. My wife majored in anthropology and did her thesis on cemeteries in Savannah and how they impacted the city's geography. The subjects are incredibly far apart but hearing about Yuts' background really brought me back to spending time with her in Georgia while she conducted her research.

I can't state enough how lived in and familiar this game felt without having ever been to Louisiana. I'm excited to see what you accomplish next. Thanks again for an amazing experience.

Hey Weston - thank you so much for sharing this. It's a really rewarding message to log in and see. The game was in some ways meant to conclude those years of research and exploration into the River Parish region. I would try to focus on other topics and regions, but my mind always drifted back to the area. Your wife's cemetery research in Savannah sounds fascinating, and it also sounds like maybe you both can relate: the pull of place can be overwhelming! In the case of NORCO, it hijacked many years of my life.

Again, thank you for this meaningful piece of encouragement. It helps us along as we sort out bugs and prepare for console launch.

I'm looking forward to playing, even more now that you've responded in kind.
