He's been saying we will know more 'in the near future' for months. I'm not optimistic but agree with ozling, Having played the prior I'd itching for a revised version.

It's not cancelled, that much I pretty certain. Game development is not as easy as some of you believe. Indie devolopers, especially the new ones on the block tend to make the age old rookie mistake of setting deadlines for game completion well before the time it will take them to actually make the game.

I'm sure it's just one of these cases where the good hearted dev didn't expect the process of making the game to be as taxing or as they were making it, revised it, then again, and again, adding more and more content. I've been guilty of this. I never loved a game I finished, it was always the case of "it has to go!" because you'll always find more and new things you'll want to add or fix to the point where the game will never be released. It can drive you insane!

So between that and the fact many devs make mistakes with deadlines (pro tip: dont do deadlines or if you must do a road map, never put dates on it unless 99.99% sure you can meet them. lol people will forgive you for taking long for making a game but if you tell them a deadline and it passes, gamers are brutal beast! Hint, this discussion thread. xD

Can't wait to be a beautiful trans choppin wood, banging wood and killin stuff. Take as much time as you need I say.

Edit: To the dev. I will say, i'd recommend you at the very LEAST check on your Steam discussions and make a few responses to people time to time. Leaving people to themselves is 100% not recommended and creates feelings of mistrust and uncertainty. Odds are, those feelings can remain and they may hold off from purchasing the game when it does roll around. It only takes a few minutes to write a couple lines here and there just to show people 1. you care 2. your invested 3. the game isn't dead.

In case you're all wondering, the game has been on sale for over a year on Dlsite. The deluxe version is that same version with all of the extras that are currently being worked on.

If you want to play the game, you can by buying it elsewhere. If you want to play the entire game with all the extras on it, you gotta wait.

Too much hypothesizing. It only takes a moment for a developer to pop on and leave a quick comment that the game is still being developed and they aren't abandoning it. There is no excuse for ignoring folks who have been waiting patiently. Everyone appreciates the work it takes to create a game. However, ignoring your clients (because that is exactly what every person who wants to purchase their game is) is a short ride to failure.
