A good way to stash dirty money? (Also Cannabis issues)
So dirty money becomes a problem after you've played for a while...

Having coke stuffed inside avacados, and send that to either a tier 3 river port, or a tier 2 or 3 aero dome with lots of your LT stanched in them will give you more than twice if not even more dirty money that your residence can even hold!

I'm having a huge issue spending these money, as they can't be laundered fast enough!

I've found that a port and a supply depot can both hold $1M, but it had to be moved there manually, so it's tedious.

Also, do anyone else have a weed problem? or is it just me? whenever I upgrade a farm or plantation from tier 1 to tier 2, it will ALWAYS swap my production from whatever I was making into cannabis. And if I'm not paying attention, like I select a farm/plantation for upgrade, and it is waiting it's turn, I will do other things instead. then come back, seeing that not only have my supply chain been interrupted, but I also have a warehouse full of cannabis that I can't get rid of easily. since you can't just sell it as is, you need to either process it or ship it to a region where you use it, and the logistics in this game isn't ideal yet... And don't say use my lieutenants, I know I can, but moving close to 400 cannabis will take time. Not to mention the main issue here. I know tier 2 introduces new products for the farms, but why can't it remember my old production when upgrading?

1: I've been playing since early access and trust me when I say that this is a problem for all players. I fix it by using the military base special building to freeze the national army star and store all the money in the city (I know its total bull and tedious and really needs to be fixed) you can also spam the mayor loan favor to clear out residences with a connection to the city if you want an automated option, but keep in mind that the amount you have to payback will eventually get really high. (I had to pay back 250,000 dirty money for a clean money loan of 30,000 one play through)
2: I have personally never experienced this so it must be a bug. For a quick fix you can go to the cargo tab in the warehouse and transport companies and deselect cannabis. That way at least your warehouses won't get full of weed, I don't know how to stop your plantations from switching over to weed, but you should join the Discord and tell your problem there, as it seems the developers check the Discord more than they check the steam discussions.
I hope this helps

for dirty money it can be a problem. where there are no hard limites you are limited with what you can do with it. i would say you can over produce and you do not want to not have enough but you also do not want to fill your export point in one trip with cash which is fairly easy to do especially later game. it is a balancing act where you want to have cash on hand as well keeping all the gears moving. clean money is the goal though.

the game does push you to max it as you progress with quests for larger amounts in a time frame which you can meet but you can also pick smaller quotas until you can expand to deal with larger amounts.

you're good with stashing dirty money in the city center since it can hold a unlimited amount but youre right as it is kinda tedious. having too much dirty money laying around everywhere is just a common and wanted problem. :D
buildings that are very close to a residence go into legal money mode for me and often one residence is just there for driving money around to the laundry facilities. in the end you need to stop production for a while to not overflow in dirty money or you capture another city to be able to wash even more money there.

Oh, I didn't know the cities were unlimited, I guess I'll try that for now, but I agree that there needs to be a fix for this... I guess one solution would be upgrading tiers for money laundering buildings?

Imagine this microtransaction: pay 10 real dollars and immediately turn 1000000 dirty cash into digital legal money. Or watch a commercial before every laundering operation to make it +50%. (I better not give them ideas)

If you have more dirty money than you can store it's time to get more laundering buildings, or to pause production and sales for a bit.

Cities are unlimited, but if they get surrounded by blockades, everything you've stored is confiscated.

imagine a game without microtransactions and day1 DLC...

more to the point; I thought they fixed the issue with farms changing when upgraded? that shouldn't be happening. is your game up to date?
