How to get weapons?

Starting a new cartel and i dont see a "weapons factory" or something, so gonna ask now before i get wrecked later.
How, or where, do i get or buy weapons?

You can buy them in the military base if your friends with them. Not sure but I think the Rebel's sell them too

Also seen them in the area depot, of which you can build in cities.

Not sure why, as you basically buy/sell for the same price. There is simply no profit in this item yet.

If you have all 5 Reyes family members you can use Papa's special to buy weapons also.

Make an agreement with this lieutenant for various benefits. (Only accessible if the cartel has all 5 members of the Reyes Family.)

How does this make any sense ? I buy black market weapons with illegal cash, sell illegal weapons for clean cash in an open market. Also, I would change it to trading drugs for weapons instead of cash. The army guys want opium to open up their base, should have a trade weapons for opium option. Rebels wanted coke (?), so should be able to trade that for weapons. Also, there should be events that pop up, we already have the "foreign" guy show up looking for opium, they should also show up to trade opium for weapons lol.

With the proper bonus', you can make a fair amount of money acquiring the weapons cheaper than you can sell them.

Could somebody be more specific please? I'm friends with the guerrilla but I can't buy any weapons. I actually don't understand what the guerrilla does except send u some help during fights. I keep getting this mission to sell 120 weapons but I have no idea where to get them... please help

Once you have complete control of the guerrillas there is a tab on their screen (you will have to switch to it). You can sell them any kind of illegal goods of your choice, and in exchange they will send out a plane that will return with a weapons shipment (note that this will raise terror, as will buying weapons in the area depot or military base).

A way to get weapons without raising terror is to buy them from another gang (and avoid shipping them through unowned cities). Santino Neto sells them and I believe so does Julian Ochoa. I think also the lady who loves flowers, lol.
To buy weapons from a gang you need to have a good relationship with them. If you're below zealous I think you can only buy 10 at a time. Once you have relationship zealous you can get the bigger shipments. So manage your gang relationships carefully. This is my preferred way for getting weapons, consoles & TVs.

Trading with gangs is busted, I earn so much cash early game by buying drugs for neighbouring gangs and selling it. The benefits far outweigh the costs.
