This uncut earliest access I see on your website;
1) Does this allow us to play the full game now?
2) Do we get a free Steam key with this download when the game drops on Steam?
Thank you.
@Hawke good questions :)
For anyone that doesn't have discord, I'll summarise (not sure I'm allowed to directly copy/paste)
1) This is a much more developed version, new map/mechanics/features. So looks to be about as up to date as you can get just now.
2) Not 100% guaranteed (depends on platform policies).
It is possible price may increase when released on other platforms.
Hope this helps.
I don't use Discord often, so thanks. I suppose that answer means "yes", to whatever state the game is currently in. They will probably update it through the download links.
As for Steam keys I kind of figured, but some companies (like Space Haven's when I ordered it on their website) said free Steam key once its released.
The only information on the website about the uncut earlierst access is that some items will be locked behind the preorder wall, like the Diva boss.
So far, the game only has its' theme going for it :-(
Besides, there are plenty of other games coming out in the meantime and plenty of older stuff getting huge patches. In 8 days, AC:Valhalla drops on Uplay, so I will be spending hours and days in that game anyway!
There's a few lets plays on youtube if you want to see the new stuff.
I completely understand some people wanting to hold off until full release, early access isn't for everyone. :)
Edit: Not gonna watch any "let's play" videos cause otherwise I'd just buy the game now. hehe
haha. I understand completely! I'm the same xD
Is there a story mode and is it complete (kind of like the demo tutorial) ? I'm not gonna get it if there is just a free mode play.
Thanks.
As mentioned above, it's a lot trickier then the demo (or I'm finding it that way anyway) so should keep you occupied for a quite a while. I've put 2.5 hours into it so far and have only unlocked 1 additional region (with another coming soonish). In comparison I could play through the entire demo in the same time easily.
I'm really bad for persuading people to buy games so please only purchase now if you're happy to invest in the concept, and want to support the dev's and the promise of things to come.
Certainly more to develop but for me so far, I'm enjoying it. Regions are harder to take aswell due to new objectives/reputation stuff.
Hope this helps and doesn't spoil much. I've tried to keep it vague :)
I bought it. COULDN'T RESIST.
I see what you mean, it is a lot harder than the demo.
1st play; bankrupt. Eek, did stupid stuff cause I thought the stuff that worked in the demo works here, no no no.
2nd play; terror level = terror. Wow they made it hard to take over a place, when you win the terror JUMPS up. Not just during the fighting. Had to quit because the national guard blockaded my only city with a taxi and and a casino. Didn't have enough cash to buy off the one place I wanted to buy, needed 50k for that city. Also why did my terror go through the roof? I upgraded the assassin to be able to kidnap. Did a kidnap and terror went from 2 stars to 4. OUCH.
Yeah I've been playing for 3 hours. Looks like I gotta start again. This is a great game so far. Missing a lot of text (seems like it is still early Alpha) once in 1st play I upgraded my 2nd LT to Capo since my guy died trying to escape from bankruptcy. So I decided to try again.
Starting 3rd. Grab a mug and play another round. Hopefully I learned a thing or two.
