Loading screen forever.
I cannot get this fixed for the life of me, from reading online it seemed like this was a common error when the game was released but when they patched it most people didn't have any problems after that. Well I have the 1.2 version, and I'm still just loading forever. I can get into the game for about 2 minutes up until the point where you talk to the principal then that loading screen just never ends.

I have:
Windows 7 64-bit
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz
RAM: 8 MBs.

I've tried re-installing it, lowering my ram to 2 MBs (because apparently that was a problem before), and even unplugging my controller although I have no idea why that would help. Also my drivers are all up to date so I'm more or less just at a loss any advice would be appreciated.

I'm not sure bit it might be about this this fixes most of in-game crashes for 64 bit platforms with over 2mb of RAM

The game is already patched because steam auto-patches it. It still doesn't work

I know this is old but for those of you who are desperately searching the web for answers, try this: http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx-9.12.0613-driver.html

I originally downloaded that driver to fix another game I was having trouble with (Velvet Assassin) and thought: since this game works now, perhaps Bully (Another old game I was having trouble with) will work now. Simply put, it worked.

Good luck guys, I hope this helps!

I never figured it out, I just played it on my laptop as oppossed to my desktop and for whatever reason on there it worked fine despite being a less powerful machine.. Sorry I never got the chance to figure it out.

I just got a reply from RockStar's TechSupport ... and you know what they said?

AND I QUOTE !

"You will see there, the game is only designed to run on Windows XP / Windows Vista - because you are running Windows 7, we are unable to effective troubleshoot this issue.

Apologizes for any inconveniences."

So ... basically, i can't do nothing unless i downgrade my OS
O__O
