Does the school year end?

I played this game for a bit. Spent most of my time exploring and beating up random people, but after attending the english class it shows a grade. When it showed the grade I noticed that there's only a limited number of grade slots, so does the school year end in this game? Is it timed similar to other games like Dead Rising where you only have a preset amount of time to finish the game?

Nope, no timer.

Keep going to class until you complete all the levels of the class. Then next time when the bell rings and it is time for that class you do not have to attend. You can roam around and the teachers will not chase you down anymore during that class time. It is quite nice to have them completed.

Ok cool thanks. I guess I'll just focus on completing the classes first and then finish all of the missions.

I like leaving one class open so i can have the teachers chasing me down..
