My game won't start

I bought Bully yesterday I wanted to try it but when I click on launch it says start launch, then launch for a second then it asks me to launch the game again, nothing opens

Try opening through the main .exe in the files

I had this and troubleshooted it to death, running through exe, admin privileges, compatibility mode etc etc, I got it to boot once as a fluke but otherwise it just hangs, loops or completely fails to boot. Really hoping someone has a fix. This was with and without silent patch.

I have the same issue but non of those solution have been worked, I had the same problem with GTA V too and of course the Bioshock (which I Installed from the Epic Games) but I think there's a problem with 2k and Rockstar launchers, I really don't know what to do now.

And by the way there's file in the Bully installation directory called version.cfg, and when I open the file it wrote that the Bully version is 154.1, But I think there should be newer version of Bully for pc. Yet steam didn't release any new version and there's no update patch note in the update history page of the game.

The Steam version just uses the retail version’s files except for the exe and the retail version must of had the older files in it that never had it updated.

Well no, there were no real changes to the files except for the exe which is the updated steam version
