Controller Issue

OK, my last resort. I have read all the threads i found on this and they all say
1. Plug the controller in
2. Start the game, click story
3. Access "controls" in the menu, not the "options
4. At the top it says "standard controlls: Xbox 360 compitable"
5. Click right ( notice some people say left) and this will take you to 360 controller menu.

It does not work for me, just cannot access the controller menu.

NOTE: Im using Dualshock 4 with 360ce. It WORKS with all games that support 360 controller and even the games that support normal controllers, like most pre 360 era games with pad support.

NOTE: Last time i had Bully installed everything worked fine with Dualshock 4 and 360ce. Since then i had to re install Windows 7 32bit and since then it does not work, but only with this game.

I have disc edition of Bully Scholarship Edition since it launched on PC.

I am using a different Controller but I had the same Problem.
Every Game requiring a 360 Pad worked fine when I used 360CE.
Only Bully didn`t.

Downloaded new Library Files from here: https://code.google.com/p/x360ce/downloads/list
And unzipped them into the Bully folder.

Controller worked fine after that. Just had to activate it in the Options.

P.S: Make sure to get the right Libraries for your System. 32 Bit or 64 Bit.

Okay, try editing the x360ce.ini
I added, this to the [InputHook] line:

HookLL=1
HookCOM=1
HookSA=1
HookWT=1
HookDI=1
HookPIDVID=1
HookName=1

Found it on some Forum, when I tried to make my Controller work.
Don`t know if it helped though, or if the new Libraries did the trick.
Tried both at the same Time.

I found that if you go into the contoller menu then press the right arrow key on the keyboard it will switch to the controller menu then scroll down to enable controller and select it. Hope this helps.

Even editing Ini didnt help. Yeah tried that first thing. Might just try and find cheap PS2 copy. hate playing this with keys+ mouse just for the fact you have to constantly run haha.

This link really helped me. I downloaded it and unzipped it into my bully folder and it registered my controller. When I was in game before downloading this, I was not allowed to enter into the controller options in the "controls" menu, but after downloading this and unzipping it, the menu opened after I click the "right" key on my keyboard and my controller works fine. Thanks a lot buddy! :D

You know, I got the game to work perfectly with a Wiimote and Nunchuck, and it even resolved the lag and crashing issues on Windows 10.

the last time i downloaded that it messed up my pc controls on my keyboard and mouse

I have fixed the problem it is so simple and dumb. did it without changing anything! So make sure your controller is connected and that steam input is enabled. Start the game, start story, esc to bring up menu, go to controls, ok so at the top of the controls you will see standerd controls: 360 compatible (so i did this two ways (1. clicked my right mouse button this will take you back to the menu Click controls aging use the right arrow and it will take you to the 360 control. 2. just clicking the right arrow.)) MAKE SURE YOUR CONTROLLER IS CONNECTED TO THE PC VIA BLUETOOTH OR WIRED CONTROLLER I CAN NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. WITHOUT DOING THIS YOU WONT BE ABLE TO SWITCH. Once in 360 compatible go down to the Enable 360 compatible Controls. Click with left mouse button then click right arrow on keyboard to enable, then click right mouse button. you should be able to use your controller. took me a while to get it right hope this helps. if you want i can make a video to show you if you are a visual learner.

thanks for having the Discusstion here i recently got bully because once of my christmas presents got refunded since it was out of stock and since i've always played a cracked copy i had no clue i have to manually enable Controller support in the game and because of this i've spent some hours switching drivers and even reinstalling my steam copy of this game... but God bless you all because this helped me solve this 1 issue i was having
