cannot play due to being zoomed in
My nephew was playing the game a while back and managed to zoom everything in by adjusting the resolution within the game and it resulted in the game being completely zoomed in to the point i cannot see the setting when the game is paused... is there anything i can do to either zoom everything out to normal or just reset the entire game ( dont care if i loose game progress ) back to how it was when i first played it?

Any help would be appreciated , Thanks!

I've had the same issue ever after a Steam update. It zooms over the upper and left side of the screen. I wasn't able to fix it so far.

That's exactly what happened. Too bad because the game was great.

Yeah, very disappointing. I was at about 40% of the progress, I don't feel like reinstalling the game and playing all of that all over again.

Worst thing is that I paid Steam money for it.

Please let me know if you find any fix, thank you.

OKay i will let you know as soon as i find a solution bro. I understand about not wanting to restart the game from the beginning again but i dont think it would help to reinstall the game, i tried and it did absolutely nothing. Nothing changes ( didnt have to start from beginning and still zoomed in ).

I have experienced this problem when I changed my resolution.

I did find a solution on my PC...

I opened the folder containing my Bully.exe file.

Right clicked on "Properties"

Then selected the: "Compatibility" tab

Then selected "Change high DPI settings"

Then clicked on the box next to: "Override high DPI scaling behavior".

and changed the drop down menu to "Application"

started the game and it wasn't zoomed in anymore!

Hope this works!

Thanks for the advice but i was not able to find the compatibility tab but i did figure it out by scaling my pc apps to 100% , start game & then scale resolution in options down to 720p.

Hey I found a solution on my PC.

go to your PC settings under the display tab there should be a section named ' scale & layout ' change that to 100% and then start the game.
At the start menu go to ' Video ' and select a resolution that works ( I found that 720p works best )

Don't forget to go back to you PC setting / Display/ Scale & Layout and set your scaling setting back to recommended.

The game runs great again!

Glad to hear that you found a solution!

Even if my solution didn't help.

Us "cannot play due to being zoomed in" people need to help each other out!

Reinstalling the game wont make it so you have to start all over again, it wont delete your save lol

Excellent, thanks a lot! It worked for me and solved the problem. Thanks a million, I was still pissed that I had bought the game and wasn't able to play it anymore, but now I'm going to go back to it.
