Bully: Scholarship Edition

Bully Vs. Windows 10
I wanted to check if anyone has a fix to the ♥♥♥♥ that is Windows 10. Once I had upgraded to windows 10 I was met with the fact that I can no longer play Bully scholarship edition without major crashes. After playing Bully for a random set of time (10 to 60 minutes) with no reason to why the game crashes I came to the conclusion that Bully isn’t stable on windows 10. I don’t want to pay a hundred bucks for windows 7 even though windows 10 feels like I installed a virus, moving past this I wanted to see if any of you the readers could give me a good fix to this issue. I checked the internet and due to the lack of players currently playing Bully I can’t find a solution. I’ve checked if steam thought the game was stable on the operating system and steam responded with a flat out lie, saying the game was fine and it totally won’t crash. I love Bully, I play it more than Gta, rockstars newer title. If any of you can come up with a solution I would be greatful.

Curious. Where on Steam does it say Bully is compatible and "just fine" and "totally won't crash on Windows 10"?

When i look at the system requirements for Bully it says this:

System Requirements
OS: Windows XP / Windows Vista
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 (3+ GHZ) / AMD Athlon 3000+
Memory: 1 GB RAM
Graphics: DirectX 9.0c Shader 3.0 supported, Nvidia 6800 or 7300 or better, ATI Radeon X1300 or better
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c
Hard Drive: 4.7 GB free space
Sound Card: DX9-compatible
Input: Keyboard, Mouse, Xbox 360 Controller supported

....
a moderator moved your post when i was mid-response. but as you see looking at this sub-forum dedicated to the game there are others with windows 10 issues and this game.

It doesn’t actually say that I was adding a bit of dramatism for no reason but if you right click on any game and go to properties and make your way to local files, where it will say verify integrity of cache steam will check your game to see if there are any notable problems. As for the moderator moving my post, I see nothing wrong with posting this here for two reason, one being people have problems with windows 10 on multiple formats, the other being that I was seeking tips on how to stop these crashes. The moderator probably saw this and decided oh it says bully so it has to be at the bully forums. it’s fine that just means I will more or likely get no responses compared to what I would receive in the previous forum.

i have the patch installed, still crashes after about 10-20 mins. ive had similar problems with other older rockstar titles for example manhunt i know did the same thing for me. and that was when i had windows 7. ive disabled ingame anti aliasing. dropped the shadow quality to low and still the same. maybe its just old rockstar games arnt that well optimized who knows but to be fair i seem to have no problem with gta san andreas, weird. im running i54690k 8gb ddr3 ram Nvidia 960 2gb and of course the dark abyss that is windows 10 64 bit :) hopefully someone can find a solution bullys one of my fav rockstar games
