Stuck on "Balls of Snow"

I guess there are 2 problems with this mission.

1. Some people have issues reloading snowballs preventing them from finishing in time.

My bug -
2. Some NPCs are throwing projectiles back at me and Jimmy is by default locked in one spot for the mission I believe. When hit, Jimmy slides slightly to the left continually and can't throw snowballs or do anything except slowly slide leftwards. Time runs up, mission failure.

I can't unlock main story mission Jealous Johnny. Apparently, a player has to finish some Scholarship Edition missions including this one before unlocking main story mission Jealous Johnny now.

Anyone else?

Fresh game boot and load seemed to help me pass this. After I loaded, I went straight to this objective.
