It's funny because some people were asking this game to be removed from Steam. It's unplayable on modern operating systems without mods.

This is the game of my childhood , I have vivid memories of me playing this on PS2 during a school night getting like 2 - 5 hours in. I didn't have a memory card at the time and I remember telling my mom "Don't turn off my playstation please " since I had to go to school . Everyday she would and I would still be excited to get home and play this game

Yep. That's one of the reasons I'm afraid they may remove it. I like a lot of older games, so I'm used to having to patch or mod them to get them to work on Windows 10/11. I haven't tried this one out yet, but I trust that the community has found a way to make it playable.

Have You played it yet? I played it back when it initially came out and I loved it. I bought it on My PS4, Xbox one and now My PS5 and PC.

yeah there's a mod called "Silent patch"
makes the game basically never crash and also removes the 30fps cap

i dont see any reasons for them to remove it, racing games are being removed coz they use real cars and the license expires so they have to remove them, but this game i dont see they use any real brands or whatsoever. they removed gta trilogy coz of the gta trilogy DE is out

they probably not going to remove it from steam take exmple on fallout 3 the game can't not start without a fan created mod/patch
