I wish they'd go through and remove the Rockstar Social Club requirement for all their games. 2K removed the 2K Launcher from all their games this year, so it'd be nice if Rockstar did the same.

Hopefully, they do fix the crashing and address the FPS issues. The crashing every 3-8 minutes is ridiculous. I'm yet to find an unofficial patch or mod that stops it.

Most likely they won’t change anything FPS related because A: The game is designed to run at 30FPS, the mechanics were designed around this and i don’t see them going through the effort to tweak every little thing with FPS. And B: Issues created by modding (such as SilentPatch) won’t be fixed because obviously. Achievements aren’t off the table yet so hopefully we can see achievement for the game sometime soon.

There is only one mod that fixes it, so i doubt you couldn’t find it. It’s called SilentPatch. If you’re playing on Windows 11, you have to go into SilentPatchBully.ini and change CustomMemoryMgr=0 to =1 to properly fix the configuration.

I wouldn't expect much, achievements is asking way too much from this greedy company.
All they will do is fix the crashes most likely.

yah alot of games from this era used physics engines that are based off of ticks, upping the fps would require alot of rework. thats why when you use mods to boost fps you get flying cars and ♥♥♥♥ like that.
im still hoping for a definitive edition rework. i know, i know, everybody except me hates the grove street games version of gta trilogy.

It's the only one I could find and it didn't stop the crashing.

Playing the game at 30FPS isn't an issue, at least not for me.
