Is Shop broken?

I have to do circular motion with the mouse but its only registering it in the opposite direction it seems? (Jimmy does it the wrong way around).

Does anyone know if this might have something to do with for example the unlocked framerate? Other button prompts seem also a lot faster then when I played this on the Wii back in the day.

first mission is bugged, you need to spin before the prompt comes up
the rest of shop classes aren't bugged
framerate doesn't change anything
this has been a bug since the PS2 version of the game that never got fixed
