Does anyone know how to fix the audio issues?
Hey there, I been playing Bully since I was like 7 and have always loved this game. Now I didn't notice until recently but with the PC port I am constantly being absolutely berated with noise.

First, the in game volume adjustments have 0 effect on the volumes. The only thing that will change is I can mute the music if put to 0 but for everything other value for all the options its full blast.

Second, every single rat squeak, arcade bleep, car motor and horn, every conversation within my vicinity, footstep, its all full volume. It becomes a sensory overload, I can't even hear Jimmy half the time. I originally thought "well maybe it was this way when I was a kid and didn't notice". Well I ran a PS2 emulator and played the ps2 version and had 0 issues with the audio.

Attempted Fixes: I have tried in game volume settings, switching from surround to stereo, outside the game I have tried switching my Logitech headset from 7.1 to stereo via audio jack, I have tried adjusting the audio quality, compatibility mode Windows XP (which then would make my DS4 windows non functional), playing around with the framerate, downloading silent bully patch and then the Definitive Edition modpack. Nothing has done anything to change these issues.

Sorry if this is long winded but I love this game and I really hope to find a solution. Am I beating a dead horse and this is just an awful port of the game and I just got to deal with it or am I missing something here? Thank you

The only thing you had to do out of all the things you tried was change the audio from Surround 7.1 to anything else via whatever software your PC already has.
That fixes the issue. I'm not sure why it doesn't work for you.

That def seemed like the most logical solution i was pretty surprised it didn't work, I would turn off my logitech 7.1 program and use an audio jack to ensure stereo. I've tried on my main rig and my laptop as well and the issue has been prevalant in both. come to think of it, even if I used my laptop speakers it would still happen so thats what makes me come to believe its not the headset.

I've been having this issue as well, BUT I have a Hyper X Cloud Stinger Gaming Headset and I tried switching to from Surround to Stereo and Nothing! Even without headphones I still hear it Background chitter chatter and walking. :steamsad:

Try putting the music bin in a different folder?
