After much research and testing this is the method I found Works best:
1: Compatibility mode, Disable display scaling, and Run as admin turned off
2: Launch Bully
3: Before you start the game press CTRL+ALT+DEL and open the Task Manager
4: Left-Click the Details tab
5: Find Bully on the list and Right-Click
6: Left-Click Set Affinity and make sure only CPU 0 has a Check in it, and click ok
After you have completed step 6 you should automatically be put back into the starting menu of Bully; you can then start the game with no more crashing. Enjoy

Here's a fix that's worked for me. Go to the Bully game folder in Steam/steamapps/common/Bully Scholarship Edition. Find the Bully.exe then right click and click the compatibility tab. Check off the compatibility mode and set it so Windows XP Service Pack 3. Then, in the same tab, check the run as administrator option and save those settings. Have fun playing crash free!

Edit*** also add
-d3d10
in launch option.Haven't crashed for about 1hr (i stopped playing it didn't crashed)

Just follow this steps and u good to go glhf .

Keh, I started to play this game for the first time yesterday, and it's not easy to prevent it from crashing. I already found out the cause, but solving it requires either access to the source code of the game (something that Rockstar don't want to share I guess) or reverse engineer the program (illegal ...) So far, I'm currently figuring legal steps to prevent that problem happening.

That task manager step is quite riddance. I have created a shortcut which launches the game with the CPU affinity automatically so that I don't have to alt-tab out, open task manager and fiddle with the affinity each time I launch this game. Just double click that shortcut and I'm fine.

I'm currently experimenting with it, so gotcha release details soon if it works for me.

Ah, it's pretty common that support goes away if a product becomes very old.

I just found something interesting tho. There is a file CPVDayNi.txt which contains the following;

# this file controls the CPV day/night shifting times per season SUMMER: DAY: 7 NIGHT: 20 FALL: DAY: 7 NIGHT: 20 WINTER: DAY: 7 NIGHT: 19 SPRING: DAY: 7 NIGHT: 21

I altered it and it's fun to see the daylight going away at 17 o'clock xD

Unfortunately, I got bored while looking to that assembler code. Maybe when I've time to look it again someday. It would be more easier if I had access to the source code because it's easier to read.
