Disable blur effect?
When changing the viewing angle, a blur effect is active, how can I deactivate it?
I can't play with this effect.

To disable motion blur, open this file:

%LocalAppData%\WeWentBack\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\Engine.ini

And add these two lines to it:

[SystemSettings] r.DefaultFeature.MotionBlur=0

Hey there, I'm one of the devs!

Thanks so much for playing! :)

Sorry about the trouble you're having with the blur, we want to add a few more options to the graphics menu, so we'll stick this in the backlog along with the other options we're planning!

How Do I Turn Off Motion Blur?
It never used to bother me years ago, in fact I rarely even noticed it, but now it makes me too sick to play. Is there any way to turn it off? I guess not through the game menu, but sometimes it's possible to do so through the game files, I just don't know how.

Thanks for playing!

As Doomsday_Warrior pointed out, setting Post Processing to Low should help with this for the time being. We are planning on implementing a more intuitive way to change this in the future, keep an eye out for patches!

Hello again, everyone!

We believe this issue may be fixed for all graphical settings, we didn't actually have proper motion blur enabled (And we're keeping it that way!), but we did have an intentional input lag that was added as a stylistic choice which did look a bit like motion blur. However, given that there are many having issues because of it, we've disabled it in the latest patch.

Can those who had this issue try the game out again, and see if this fixed the problem for them?

"Post processing" on "Low" works for me. Thank you.

Yes, removing the input lag helped immensely
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Game uses Unreal Engine which makes it easy to tweak.

To disable motion blur, open this file:

%LocalAppData%\WeWentBack\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\Engine.ini

And add these two lines to it:

[SystemSettings] r.DefaultFeature.MotionBlur=0

Thank you for this solution. :lunar2020hearteyesrabbit:

Just played the game and also ran into the motion blur / motion sickness issue as soon as I stepped out of the sleeping pod. I turned down post processing to low and that helped a bit. A separate 'motion blur on/off' box and a 'field of view' slider in the options would be nice because those things combined with a low framerate is instant nausea for me in most games.

I was wondering why I was feeling sick, good to know it's not just me. I had the same issue with ''Among the Sleep, couldn't finish it.
