Does the game have pet-care elements?

Hello reader,

I didn't see anything about it on the store page but thought I'd ask anyway: Does the game have any pet style interaction? Feeding, looking after needs, interacting with them, playing with them~, that sorta jazz.

Or is it more like Pokemon where it's just running around the overworld and your party fighting like a normal JRPG?

I don't think it does, I don't remember any gimmick like this. This is definitely more like old Pokemon, I'd call it a mix of Pokemon and a little bit of Legend of Zelda dungeon gameplay.
