With the speed up options you can get past the puzzles very quickly so it never really bothered me personally
Yes. I think a couple of puzzles or something like that are nice to bring some variety to the game.
But in my opinion its too much. I don't complain about puzzles or minigames. But just for me the frequency at which it takes place is a bit too high.
Thats why settings or mods for that would be great. so everyone could create the best experience for themselves.
