Potential confusion

so I've been looking everywhere online for a clear answer but I'm not sure if all the wiki data is outdated now or what, so Devs if you see this. Please Clarify, I've been potent scent/resetting for probably days at this point. I've caught like 50-100 potent 19 coromon... and actually 0... 20's or 21's ... so call it god level misfortune or whatever but from my understanding all of reddit says to only use the potentiflator for 20-21 cause 19-21 is slower than just potent scent hunting. is this true or should I just start soft resetting for the 19-21 jump?

also just a thought.. but if I have 6 moffels all with 19 potential, if would make sense to try all 6 walk the 1000 steps for each then check, but the 2500 gold request just makes me soft reset after just 1 cause I'm not that rich... wouldn't it just make sense to remove the 2500 so people aren't forced to soft reset after every attempt?

For the Potentiflator to go from 19 to 21 is around a 4x higher chance than finding a wild 21 Potential Coromon. Only downside is that it requires time and gold.
