Beat the Game, never found a Perfect Coromon in Wild

Hi, i finished the Game today with 100% Steam Achieves. 106 hours Playtime in several runs and never found a perfect Coromon in the wild. Im not 100% sure about the Potent 20s, but i think i only found 5 to 10 of them.

Is it just the game or am i just unlucky?

According to the Wiki[coromon.wiki.gg] Coromon have a 1/3194 chance to spawn as perfect so the RNG is definitely not in your favor. Using a potent scent definitely helps though. I didn't run into one during my story playthrough either, but I did find a perfect while I was trying to get a high potential Bittybolt post-story so they do exist.

If you really want a perfect coromon you're much better off capturing one with a high potental (17-20) and then trying to upgrade the 'mon's potential using the
Potentiflator[coromon.wiki.gg] on Donor Island. Just save your game before you give your coromon to the researcher and you can reload as many times as it takes. One of the game's early patches made it so the Potentiflator is guaranteed to boost your 'mon's potental by a minimum of one so a coromon with 20 potential will always become a perfect.

Yeah i know, i got maybe 3 potential 20s, and started with a 20 Nibblegar. So all in all i got 5 Perfects in my 100 Research run, inclusive the Perfect one u can trade later. But sadly never found one in the wild.

Well, I'm going through my first play through, and I am only allowed to use Perfect Coromon (after getting to the Potentiator guy). I got a 20 Potential Toruga in about 5 minutes. Raced through the game to the lightning island, where I caught a random mon (can't even remember who) so I could upgrade it to Perfect. 1 done. Then, I grabbed the Potent Scent from the cave and went back to the first route. Wanted a Bitterbyte, but after an hour to just catching random Potent Pitterbytes that weren't high enough Potenial and resetting the game, I ran into a Perfect Silquill, so took it instead. Next, I wanted a Seraphace. I farmed for, I kid you not, days without even seeing 1 Potent Seraphace. I saw a million Armadil though. Finally, after moving to a different chamber in the dungeon, I found a single Potent Seraphace. It just so happened to be 20, too, so that hunt was done. Currently, I am hunting a water type coromon from the first route again. I would prefer a Flowish, but I'll take which ever one shows up as 20 first. Extremely glad to have the Battlechecker now, because, even though its been quite a few days for this hunt, without it, it would be so much longer.

Anyways, the point of all this is to say that it is completely possible to find Perfect coromon naturally, as my Golbeak is one.
