Why do you have a mysterious guy you can't use in your starting group with a bunch of really good equipment you can steal? Is this a debug thing that was left in, or just ill-explained?

This game is incredibly buggy and really needed some thorough testing before release. Off the top of my head, not counting enemies wielding weapons they can't use (like Ultimate Swords) or the many times I forgot where interactable map objects do confusing things... Quest 3 (probably) has never unlocked for me, being a ??? in my quests menu ever since chapter 4. Quest 8 is unwinnable, because when you send everyone to the stairs, you just get a game over....

I understand that a game cant be worked on forever and you probably want to work on other games but before you abandon this one could you please add mod support so we can make our own maps and modify the character sprites and stats.
