Difference between Mac and PC

I was speedrunning some of the levels on src and I noticed there is a difference in some of the levels between Mac and PC. For example, is there any Mac player that has gotten well under 29 on level 3? It seems quite easy for PC but my time is way above. Also in level four I compared my run against the recorded WR and starting that the same time and just running right, when we get to the sawblades their in a completely different position, forcing me to slow down. These are the differences I have found so far, would love to know if anyone on mac is also way behind in level 3.

The source code is the same. If there's some kind of difference it's not something I can control.

I run on mac and my main issue is the are with the auto scroller-ish area where you have 3 platforms. Rest of the level I'm pretty much holding right. But yeah I still haven't gotten a sub-29, my best is a 29.79. I just thought I just sucked at getting through the platforms quickly. For level 4 I don't know about the saws being an issue. I can jump through them while not stoping it's just particular placement with the jumps.

To be honest the leaderboards and recording of times was added in last minute as an afterthought. I didn't realize it would end up being so important to people lol
