I believe, for Windows at least, they were released free at some point in the past. But I don't see them on Rockstar Classics- where the first two games in the series are. If anyone's interested I have them- got them when Rockstar gave them away back in the day. . .

I know the GTA1 is adapted for more modern computers (according to Rockstar) and runs fine on Win 7 64bit. I didn't expect this from a 90's PC game, so maybe it took some work to adapt and they can't allow the time to adapt the 1969 game for newer PC's? Just my thoughts :)
