There's really no need to hypotise imo. we have the set answer in the game itself:

- We know that the dead brother had head trauma. inflicted from behind, which seems more like murder.
- Also there was something wrong with clothes on dead body, dont remember exactly. but Dwight says it.
- Chat messages clearly show that Sean planned to take Cody's place.
- And the final part is the scanner - we know that it was programmed for Sean's eyes.

This is enough to understand what happened.

The questions I still have are:


-Why Sean was selling Cody's fiancee. You can find it while looking for ButcherD.
-Did Sean regain his memory. As we know phone calls can break hypnosis.
