Another abandoned game by this dev?

The developer of this game abandoned Formatta a long time ago. People got fooled and now they're stuck with an undeveloped game with bad AI. I thought Shieldwall might have potential even though I had a bad feeling that the dev will abandon this too. No updates from him, no nothing.

A lot would say an update takes longer to be applied, but I'm pretty sure there won't be updates anytime soon, or maybe small bugfixes. If until the end of this month there are no updates, I will never buy anything again from this developer.

He is the only one working on this with the help of two other dudes afaik, have some patience :) (3d art and music are from other dudes, atleast I read that somewhere). With all the hype Shieldwall got (just look at all the youtube vids that popped up by multiple popular youtubers) I guess he won't abandon it. It's a good chance for him as a developer. It already has more Reviews than Formata his former 'similar' game, which wasn't as good suited for the market (Shieldwall has those 'cute' graphics and soldier sound effects like bluebytes old settler games and seems pretty polished even in its unifinished state but is still lacking of course, Formata was probably more of a 'project' some sort of prototype for Shieldwall for him).

I understand your concerns I am also a bit worried, because of the abondondend Formata. But I guess he won't let this down, because it's such a huge oppurtunity for him. And by the tweet from last week he is still working on it, so I am not too worried atm :)

keep in mind though alot of the smaller stuff can be put out reguarly but i would imagine some larger stuff will take more time who knows im optimistic

Go on his twitter, scroll down and you will see there were like 4 ACT's in the game and he still hasn't finished the first one. I don't think it is abandoned i'm just a little sorrow because he is not giving us any feedback on how the updates are progressing.

Yes I'm aware he needs time, but I have all the rights to be questioning the pause since it's not the first time he would abandon another game.

And people have every right to call you out because there was an update literally a month ago as well, before you posted about it being "abandoned". If you think a month between updates is abandoning a game you need to take a look at your priorities.

Update March 25th, April 11th, May 15th. Wow the game sure looks abandoned I have to wait A MONTH BETWEEN UPDATES WITH A SMALL TEAM
