Reset Game Data? Multiple Save Games?

First of all, I haven't played a ton, but this is a very pleasant & charming game that works very well on my home arcade. I'm enjoying it, but I can't wait for my nieces & nephews to try it out too!

What I would really like is to see the back story of the game every time I start it (with the ability to skip that with a key press) as it would be cool for every player to understand what the game is about. Secondly, It would be great to be able to have multiple game files so that different players can come back to their game after the first play session.
