Been playing DFO, the MMO, for over 10+ years and this game is extremely disappointed. Chars in DFO have so many moves/skills, but this whole new trend of simplification of fighting games by companies is most likely what made them just include extremely few moves in DNF Duel.
Would've loved this game if it played like Blazblue CF or GG Xrd Rev2, but alas.
Also, why the fudge did they include this warrior trash char, that isn't even a playable class in DFO, but not add female slayer..... smdh
I'm not surprised this game died this fast. My guess is that people got bored of doing and seeing the same combos no matter the player. This game has no player expression.
it doesn't do anything revolutionary at all
if you want to be in on the next big popcorn moment grab melty blood since it's getting a revival soon. Who knows maybe people will stick with it this time. (lol)
This is not true. Fighting games generally are the most popular on PC now. GG Strive, SFV, KoF XV, DnF, BBCF, SG, etc. etc. go-to's are PC platform.
DnF having 150+ concurrent is better than I thought it would do considering the 2 month hiatus of nothing. I think some people here don't understand fighting game player numbers and how they're entirely different from a popular strategy sim or competitive FPS game on steam, they are always more niche and draw in smaller, yet closely-knit crowds.
