Sony's charge is small, blame the devs and publisher for not bringing the game to Xbox

The charge is literally anything but small. It’s open information just google it. The game got a significant boost of players from epics free launch. Unfortunately the epic version had a glitch that made it unplayable and the vast majority of people who got it for free seem to be trying to play the game on McDonald’s Wi-Fi. I’ve played with people on this game from every corner of the globe but the second it goes free someone rage posting in Portuguese matches with me and the has like 30 rollback frames. It was genuinely astounding how terrible the new players internet was. That more than anything drove off the majority of new players.

Nah those are Brazil players, they are using LAN cable.

Problem is Brazil internet is epic trash and it goes through rotted out network over DSL Copper and dial up trying to reach the US and then connecting to Fiber.

I playing gran blue rising these days but I would love to return to this game if it has a decent enough playerbase. The discord match finder seems to be mostly dead

In gran blue I Can find people in 5 seconds tops if not less

The developers of this game really doesn't seem to care which is a real shame

It is shameful to make excuses for this game not having Cross Play

Dungeon Fighter has a billion times more cash than CY Games yet Cy Games care about Granblue it even has cross play and monthly battle passes and new skins etc never ending stream of content.

The management behind this game is an absolute joke.

Speak for yourself. I am brazilian... and my internet is absolute monster. Optical fiber end to end. Absolute amazing link routing. I play all the time with american players, 135 ms ping and 2, 3 rollback frames. I have a canadian friend also, 170 ms ping, 2-3 rollback frames also.
Some brazilian internet are really trash yes, but nowadays we have VERY good ones also.

Speak for yourself. I am brazilian... and my internet is absolute monster. Optical fiber end to end. Absolute amazing link routing. I play all the time with american players, 135 ms ping and 2, 3 rollback frames. I have a canadian friend also, 170 ms ping, 2-3 rollback frames also.
Some brazilian internet are really trash yes, but nowadays we have VERY good ones also.

Your internet may be good but it's still going through rotted out copper network somewhere and if it's not then it's still going through a horrible bad international routing system due to garbage international peering agreements by Latin American ISPs

That's why your ping is so bad to Canada, 170 ms is horrible

I live next door to you in the Caribbean and with Digicel Trinidad internet I get 67 ms to Canada thats more than 100ms less than you because we have efficient routing for the most part.

And on one specific server to Canada I get 42 ms because the submarine fiber line goes straight to Canada and doesn't stop to Miami to route through the US. Once the packets are routing through the US the latency will be higher like about 67ms

GBVS was lacking players as well before Rising came out. It didn't had crossplay nor even rollback netcode. You had to find someone quite close to play some decent matches and even with that, both had to have a good connexion.
Who knows, maybe someday DNF will get a reboot like GBVS did.

This game haves crossplay, but only between Steam and EGS.
