[Possible Bug] Is anyone else having an issue with using controllers in this game?

Liking this game so far, but one thing I've noticed is that when my controller sometimes disconnects and then reconnects, it stops working. The game itself will still recognize that a game controller is connected (will display the gamepad buttons), but none of the inputs will work.

For reference, I am using a Dualshock 4 on the current version of the game. This happens both in the normal state and in Big Picture mode. The only way to fix it when it happens is to restart the game, which is frustrating because I just lost a fun match because my controller disconnected and wouldn't reconnect.

Usually, when this happens in other games, it connects right away and I can continue from where I left off, but unplugging it and replugging it again does nothing.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I am using the white Xbox controller via bluetooth and sometimes I do have that 1sec disconnect, but here it NEVER reconnects. Sometimes the input change, sometimes not.

Dunno how to fix it. :(

I use a cheapy hitbox for PC only, I had one time yesterday online after a match ended that it seemed to stop working and I timed out trying to rematch. I tried unplugging and plugging it back in but it wouldnt register again until I was back into the main menu. I've seen people mention it so hopefully whatever it is gets addressed.

same bug, if gamepad disconnects because of bad cable, i'm good to go back to the main menu with the backspace key. Then it works again.

i think this bug is universal :)
