Switch Controller not working

For some reason my wired switch controller refuses to be read by the game, and it only defaults to keyboard controls. Any Fixes?

This would be 100% up to Steam Input. Try opening Big Picture and going to controller settings, there are a few checkboxes in there related to enabling Switch Pro controllers that may fix it for you.

You don't have to run Big Picture every time you want to playt, it's just to access the settings.
