Drop the price now while the game is still in the Public Conscious. This is a game that's made from a MMO IP. They know that the key to online success is how many People are playing. The difference is Whales can't save you here or a switch in Payment Models. A significant price drop just might.

I'm still thinking they need to switch to a f2p model, just like Dungeon Fighter Online, and go heavy on the cosmetic micro-transactions, which can't be hard considering the modding scene makes it look easy.

We also need male and female versions of every character, but have them play differently, which I know that part will NOT be easy, but it has to be done.

Also, Spectre (F) needs to happen. If they were saving her in their back pocket for DLC, then now is the time to unleash her.

At this point tho, literally any change is good change, since the game is feeling abandoned.

He doesn't have the game, why should he be seeking for ranked points? Looks to me that he only wants to play for cheaper price.

f2p success still needs to be proven for fighting games. There were some attemps (KI, DoA, ...) but have no significantly been successfull enough yet. It works well for platformers though, has we can see from MultiVersus and Brawlhalla. Riot Project L, or whatever it is called, will be f2p and we might see a big change due to their experience on this marketing system.

Nah. I've just seen this all play out before. I actually got rid of the game after 24 minutes because it wasn't anything special. I think Strive has basically gobbled this space.

That, said. When the Steam Sale comes they'd better be pretty generous or this game is done.

This game was so fun but, the devs and publishers really dropped the ball on a potential hit. They need to add air block and announce their future plans of the game not just small tweaks every month.

I agree that hype is on SF6 and T8, however there are still month to go before SF6 is out, so until then I'll play DNFD, despite its extremely low playerbase.

If the game gets a real balance patch, an announcement for new content, and the regional pricing fixed, then there's a real chance it can come back from the dead. Until then, oof.

I sure hope those are in the works cuz it was a fun game, it'd be a shame if they just let it die before it got a chance to live. I ain't holding my breath though.
