The Citi is pretty nice, simple and all-around decent. But mine would honestly have to be the Veloci. I worked so hard the first time getting that car, and driving it around is fun as Hell.

definitely using the ancient "run the game over 80 fps" trick to make the car faster than it normally is bug, it's been in every Angel Game Engine game since Midtown Madness 1. easiest way to do that is run the game at 640x480 all low settings. due to poor programming the FPS goes haywire. for some reason while recording FRAPS will say the game is still running at 30 FPS when it's obviously not. there was another way to make the game run over 80 fps as well, but it's been ages since I did ♥♥♥♥ like that. also using the fishtail handling exploit/bug that's enhanced by the FPS bug.

Such terrible way lol. Only used fishtail. And also fishtail is not bug, its actually was made on purpose by developers.

it's in MC1 to a degree and even MC3, so I dunno. reason it seems like the FPS is above 80 in those vids is because of the jerky car movements and the way the speedometer flies around at such intervals. were you using a controller or keyboard? if it was a controller I can understand. fishtailing is easy as hell with a controller and allows you to get the car going insanely fast

Its keyboard. To record videos in that time i used to turn off dekstop by special programm and delete sound drivers which brakes game alot. It was recorded in 30 fps.

Saikou XS because of its aggresive and sharp design.

In terms of sheer sound, I like the Torque JX and the Jersey XS.

Both my favourite cars are the Jersey XS and Monstruo (I have the PS2 edition :D )
Jersey XS - Rock solid handling, great sound, great on cobble in Paris
Monstruo - A joy to drift around on wet roads and is great in manual.
Even after completing the game 5 times, I still prefer these cars to any other!

Haha, just need to unlock it now! Completed Los Angeles in 2 hours, so just another few and I shall see how it runs on the PC version!
