Question about map
This isn't for the steam version, but rather the switch version. However, I couldn't find a better place to post this. Sorry if it's the wrong place.

Anyway, my wife has been playing the game and had completed over 60 puzzles without using any of the "cheats". In her log book they all have gold stars. However the map is saying many puzzles aren't completed. For example, at the pond she completed 8 puzzles (16 if you count ask 9 tree puzzles), and it says 3/9.

Are we missing something here?

Also, there was some confusion between the numbers 3 and 8 before, which should be fixed in the latest update (v.1.0.3) Make sure you're playing this version, you can see the version number on the very top right of the title menu screen.

I have that area cleared. I think some of the puzzles are really small and hard to see, or sometimes are on top of scenery. Another thing I often see is that there's another roundabout way into a map section that lets you solve puzzles behind a building or something similar.

Thanks for the reply, but in still curious why it would say 3/9 when we count 8 puzzles completed.

Notice there are two numbers:
1: x/9
2: x/9

I think this means 18 puzzles total, but I'm not sure how they're distinguished.

Actually there are 3 numbers per zone, but I know the last one is for secrets.

Thanks! That was it. They were 8s but they looked like 3s. We compared to an actual 3 and see the difference now. As noted above, this is the switch version, so not sure if the font is updated there yet.

Not yet! Bugfixes in the Steam version will be patched in the Switch version as well, but all that takes a little longer, I'm afraid.
