Black screen

I am getting a black screen when the game loads.
What can I do to fix this?

Quest 2 user, having the same problem. Symptoms: loading splash window shows, but no progress. Virtual desktop and also real monitor shows black screen but also a small rectangular region on the right bottom has grey stripes. After force closing Down The Rabbit Hole, without rebooting or even restarting steam or oculus app, successfully loaded other games(waltz of the wizard. moss, etc).

I have succeded fixing the issue loading this game via SteamVR. For some reason, it doesn't work with Oculus VR launcher.

I managed to make it work, too! In my case, old config files from WMR and real lemon called NOLO existed. Purged them and vrsettings file, restarted, and started steamvr from steam. Then steam home finally worked, where I could launch successfully. Thanks.
