Carpet colours are almost unusable
The colour palette for carpets is awful. Take the 'basic carpet' for instance........EVERY 4th colour is white and a lot of the lighter colours appear white when used. I have tried changing the in-game gamma/shadows as well as my own gamma settings and NOTHING works. Just look at the screenshot and you can see 2x white in just the small selection I have up and the colour selected also appears white.

The shot was taken outside on the Penthouse terrace to try and get the best lighting and all graphic settings are as standard except for bloom which I turned off, all other settings are on epic.
In the next screen shot EVERY colour available appears white when used (note the 2x white options again) only the very darkest colour can be used and looks nothing like the swatch shown.

Scrolling through colour options is bad enough and can take up a lot of time when looking for the perfect match but having so MANY unusable swatches as well as 25% of those being white anyway is depressing. PLEASE FIX THIS DEVS (I also posted this in 'bugs, issues, tech support' forum but I don't know if the Devs look at those)

I see this too. It feels to me like its a visual bug with the pattern of the carpet. Like its applying a lighting pass over the color incorrectly. I haven't tried updating my graphics card driver and I have an older graphics card. You're the only other person I've seen mention it but I haven't really been looking around so maybe it looks correct for other people.

Actually I've seen a few clips on You Tube where this problem has appeared too and they usually have really good PCs. I have an Nvidia 3070 with the latest drivers so I doubt the problem is on my end lol.

Same here, i have a good gaming pc and running on Epic with no issues, and the flooring does this. hurts my eyes. I turned the brightness down to 30%.

I did some more checking and colours seem to look better when the light cast on them is low, outside on the terrace at night or inside with poor lighting for example. To be honest the whole colour palette needs an overhaul, some of the colours aren't even correctly named.

This screen shot of the 'Dirty' paint selection shows this swatch is called 'Jet Black' but
A - It looks nothing like its swatch colour which is a sorta beige colour
B - On the wall it actually looks more like a dusty lilac
C - AT LEAST IT WASN'T WHITE LOL :steammocking:

I have the same issue with the carpet colors. It sucks when the swatches look good but they end up looking white on the ground so I have very few carpet options actually available.
