In my game the wallet was stuck on the floor, no matter what I did. I closed the game and tried again and then it was quite easy to pick up. I even found a second one (with the same event). I suppose it is somewhat glitched. Good luck!

ty closed the game and started it up again and wallet is in a new location and i can get
