for some reason the dev tied that setting to sandbox only instead of putting it in the game settings menu
Please bear with us as we are getting ready to launch Patch 2. We realise that some of you are affected by some serious issues and we're doing our best to eliminate them.
Also I feel like we don't have enough content to call it a hotel, people have to put chair table side table everywhere to fill up empty space
The "please bear [sic] with us" period has timed out. Fourteen (14) months ago you promised to fix the issues reported on this thread. You haven't fixed them.
No manual save, especially in sandbox mode, is a bug, not a feature. You've received far too many complaints about this item for you to continue to ignore. So let's face facts. You have little to no choice about where to market your game - Steam. No Steam for you and there will be no you. Steam users are sick and tired of the abuse from Developers. Clean up your act. This lack of response from developers is going to force the consumers' hands to get tough with Steam. The obvious relief writ large is to screw down the lid on small business game developers. I love small independent business owners. But it is the small, independent and under financed game developers who are intentionally or unintentionally ripping off the customers by selling buggy games that are never fixed and ultimately abandoned.
Fix this game. Stop working on other projects and fix THIS game. If you HAVE to work on other projects then hire more staff. Can't afford more staff? Tough. Have a cookie. You just found out that when you own a business you pay yourself during the start-up phase last if and only if there is money left over after paying everyone else. If you can't afford to properly develop a game get out of the development business, go back to work for someone else and get back into private business when you can afford it.
