Cobweb removal

Has anyone worked out how to remove the cobwebs in the lobby? Broom isn't working. :(

I wish cobwebs were easier to see, like have a red-ish outline like the trash does during cleanup.

Cobwebs have become a big prob for me. I can only goes as far as "Old Friends" because the room won't clean. No matter what I do It says 83% for cleaning. I don't see anything and even changed the wall covering a few times. For Old Friends you have to have 3 rooms ready. The other two were no problem but the whole mission is based on room 201 and Celina, the lead singer. If I can't outfit the room I can't finish the quest. It seems ridiculous to me that the whole game hinges on such a useless item. Cobwebs could be completely omitted from the game and it wouldn't be missed. If you're going to keep them in than make them more noticeable. White for cobwebs is ridiculous anyway. In real life they are usually gray because they are made of dust.
Ok, after writing all of this I found a workaround. If you've already painted the walls and still have cobwebs keeping you from outfitting the room, repaint all walls black. The cobwebs will stand out on the black surface and you'll find them all. Then repaint with whatever you were going to use.

You can remove the cobweb by using your crowbar, it does not remove paint or other things, just push the mouse button one time, dont hold it
