Unlocking candles for Room 103

So I got the mission for room 103 which requires candles, but they don't unlock until the hotel reaches level 2. How do I do this? Does renovating the lobby help upgrade me to level 2 so I can get candles?

I found candles within the furniture area of the wheel. I think its under decorations, the icon looks like a statue bust.

That's my issue. They're still locked until level 2. I can't access them yet for the mission.

They were unlocked for me, I completed that room fine

Did you renovated the hall and lobby to unlock them? Was the room 103 mission the second mission after starter? Or have I encountered a bug?

it unlocks after completing room 101 if I remember right, I'm not at 2 star hotel status yet so its nothing to do with that

So I've encountered a bug. They're locked for me.

aha found a different bug with candles it somehow stopped room 103 from being booked for a while, I deleted all them, and readded them and now its working again
