The best and most charming soulslike i have ever played.

It's a neat game, but man those controls are really frustrating. Not in a way that's it takes a bit to get used to but that it genuinely is hard to actually hit stuff sometimes. There are a lot of times where my weapon is overlapping the enemy, but it doesn't count as a hit (the spear was awful for this reason). I never really felt like I had a good understanding of the hitbox because of it. Not to mention everything feels sluggish (by design I assume but it just doesn't really feel like there's the impact to offset it). The map also all looks the same which really isn't useful when you are expected to be able to move back and forth between areas. This is a soft not recommended because others may be able to get past the frustrations I had but I ultimately didn't enjoy my time after the first half hour.

Janky game with slightly wonky combat, a couple of annoying bosses and its possible to lock yourself out of 100% but if you look past it (and in my opinion its pretty easy to), its a cute game with a ton of charm, good music, nice atmosphere, good speedrun if youre into that sort of thing, fair achievements (apart from 100%) and well worth the 3 bucks i spent even if it was short.

I really wanted to like this game. I saw it a while ago in an Iron Pineapple video and it seemed interesting. I have to say that I absolutely love the look of the game, it looks charming as ♥♥♥♥. But that's really where the positives end. Boss fights didn't feel engaging to me on account of the clunky combat system. The game didn't feel difficult on account of actually being difficult, it felt difficult because the combat straight up is so clunky that you're fighting it more than the enemies in the game. Movement suffers from the exact same issue and then there is the map on top of it all; it's not good. The map is not only fairly boring to look at it's also a slog to actually explore. While I did manage to have I still have to say that, in the end, I did not enjoy my experience with this game at all.
