Here's what happened to SWPT

'She Will Punish Them' was developed by a Company called L2 Games.
After recovering from bankruptcy In 2021 the company started production on the game with a team of 5 developers working together doing their own parts to contribute.

In 2022 the studio unfortunately suffered from an attack due to conflicts with the Russia / Ukraine war.
During this conflict the building occupied by L2 Games used was heavily damaged destroying their servers and data stored on the computers which lead to them losing all access to the early development permanently.
Later in 2023, the same team working with L2 Games started production on a "Remake" of SWPT called - 'Beauty and Violence: Valkries' expected to release sometime in 2025.

Beauty and Violence: Valkries is meant to be the same engine used with a more realistic nature to humans featuring valkries and vikings unlike succubus which will still be an available feature along with a new map expansions and a wider variety of items.

Beauty and Violence: Valkyries was already in development BEFORE She Will Punish Them. L2 stopped with Valkyries to solely work on SWPT instead, so it got abandoned.
Unfortunately SWPT got abandoned as well. Whether dev is Ukrainian or Chinese (as some claim) remains a bit of a mystery, as dev ain't very clear and i don't buy the so called proof of linkedin profiles, reddit garbage and other stuff (which got copypasted several times here) But it is clear that Beauty and Violence: Valkyries isn't a new game and won't come at all. Also, there were 2 people working on SWPT. Here on the forum there were 2 people now and then communicating going by the names of Succuberry and The Punisher, but after the 0.990 update they went missing in action ever since.

The Punisher is the original founder and creator? Make no mistakes that The punisher is the top dog of them all, and he didn't vanish or disappear he announced that he would be gone for awhile in his valentines update due to being the only one left on the team with experience in making character meshes and maps in blender.
and as far as Succuberry he is just a mod developer for the game who got noticed after his "More Eyes & Hairstyles" mod.

Ultimately the attention is refocused on Beauty and Violence: Valkyries and SWPT will be added into the game where they will become 1 game with character sheets due to losing access to SWPT.

Man, this game was produced in China. The girl (Tina Khristi aka Valerie Lee) who managed this project was from Ukraine, but has been working in China since 2018. Developer L2 Game Studios ceased to exist after the early access release of the game due to financial difficulties caused by the Coronavirus pandemic. A new developer, L2 Games, was formed to replace them. The war in Ukraine has nothing to do with it.

Sounds fishy to me, They could not log on to steam and could tell their customers what has happenend? Even with other accounts? I mean according to you they can develop another game that is on Steam too?

And even if your story is true why whould i buy another early acces game by the same team after they did what they did with SWPT?

It is fishy because they have not updated their website either since they abandoned the game.

It is fishy because they have not updated their website either since they abandoned the game.

And the weird thing is that the website still exist. Same goes for their facebook and twitter page. Only on reddit the subreddit has been terminated. Dunno about discord.

And this is just rubbish. As said Beauty and Violence: Valkyries was made before She Will Punish them and then got abandoned, as they focused on SWPT. And now SWPT is abandoned. Valkyries was and is not to be a new game, nor that it will incorporate SWPT. I don't buy the not having access to SWPT, as they were working on it. Last version was 0.990. Dev just ran away, a thing which happens more and a bit too often, especially with unity games. Though unlike Neverinth SWPT is fully playable and is largely finished, but problem is that it isn't polished.
