Yes, dead as a rock, 10ft under water. They did well with sales, then they turned off the lights and locked the doors.
The issue with this type of game, early access, is that people who will buy the game, do it soon after it's on sale. Very little cash comes in afterwards besides from Patreon.
Once Patreon no longer pays the bills, they drop the game development.

Frustrating, but we purchased early access. No promises were made.

Then steam needs to take this game down as abandonware. How much time must pass for a game in early access to be flagged by valve?

The game is alive as long as there are people playing and modding it.

Its basically completed. Sure, its rough around the edges and you can see where it needs some finishing touches but aside from that it has a start, middle and ending.

Agreed and it's cheap as hell to purchase and offers so much in its current form.

If only the achievements would work.....
In any case with my 25 hours played this game is more fun than Hades 2 (uninstalled after 20 hours), Soulmask (uninstalled after 3 hours) and Hellidvers 2 (uninstalled after 19 hours) :lunar2019crylaughingpig:

Not very likely, as they are women who moved to China or local Chineese developers.

This game isn't that bad at all,

I actually liked the first iteration a lot better but even in it's form now it's still TONS better than most games on steam,

because this is actually a third-person hack+slasher that does the hacking and slashing part quite well, and it isn't dumbed down to 'public' standards like most games are nowadays

I don't know why people come on forums and attack games for being 'dead' when they haven't even played the game yet to see for themselves how good it is ,

or give a game credit that it's done so much when so few other (third person hack + slashers) even exist.

Also, why are people fanning the stupidity by saying the game is 'dead' or 'bad' etc, it's a mostly finished game that's actually pretty good in a genre starving for content it doesn't need to be trashed by ignorant comments.

Also the devs are working on a 'big' version game using this engine called Valkyries or something,

A lot of this game seemed to have been them testing development mechanics to make that other game which I think they want to be a lot more polished and a bigger release, so keep your eye out for that
I mean, the game is technically complete. The story mode has an ending and all...

Unfortunately there were no news about Valkyries for about 3 years now.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
