Steam deck

Does this run on Steam Deck? I know it says unsupported, but many unsupported games still run. I'm new to the Steam universe so forgive my ignorance.

It works alright but some things don't work like scrolling the map don't work as far as I can find and no cloud saves and of course not enough buttons to map everything.

It runs pretty choppy in some of the battle scenes, but I played my 20 hours on a Steamdeck and enjoyed it. There isn't a great control scheme for the Deck, but with some tweaking and remapping control settings I was able to access all of the game functionality.

I did figure out a way to scroll the map if I remember correctly, but I'm pretty sure it involved opening the keyboard interface with Steam + X button and mashing wsad to move the map around.

which "proton" to use? looks like didn't launch in my steam deck, tried 6.3.8/7.0

that's the problem majority don't put what proton version, so it can run.
