L2 Games

Is there anything that anyone can tell me about the developers, L2 Games? Who are they? Where are they based? What else are they working on? Who does what? What kind of experience does the team have? I can't seem to find anything. Their webpage is just about the game. There's no Wikipedia page. Google is no help.

The only thing I know is that the company got bankrupted and now, i think, there are 3 developers working in this game. Although maybe we have to wait months, they still release updates for this game, which is nice. They are working in a similar game like this, it is called beauty and violence: Valkyries, they said once they have finished SWPT they will go back to that game.

The game development has been a total nightmare. Even before the HD Remaster gimmick that they release months ago, the game was bland and pretty much generic.

The publisher bailed on them because none of the games they were financing were making any profit. So that is why L2 went bankrupt is because their funding dried up and only a few, I believe that there are 2 developers working on it.

The game has a good concept but it's executed horribly. The devs were active and communicated with their fanbase but now it's a mystery if they are working on it or just barely working on it. They release an update here and there but frankly it's barely enough to keep it afloat.

L2 haven't really made any successful game so to speak. I have the feeling this one would be abandoned at some point or left on hiatus. It might just be a modders project to make the game playable or even interesting.

It's more what is left of L2 who is working now on SWPT. It's more or less a skeletoncrew and it's 2 persons who are working on it. It's an indie dev. But there is no word where they come from. The only things you find are social media channels and for business you contact them at a gmail mailaddress. It's a bit of a mystery.

GSC Gameworld is Ukrainian, but there is no word there that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is on hold. It is still scheduled for December 8 this year.

Really? You tried so hard to think of an edgy pro Putin comment to make my worry look silly that you pulled something that not even touches it? How does that play out in your mind? That game devs have a special immunity to get drafted? The invading soldiers ask every armed resistance if they are a game dev before shooting? Russian generals hanging big portraits of Ukranian game devs up for the soldiers to memorize so they don't shoot them on accident and better even avoid the area they operate in completely?
