steam deck sound not working

On the steam deck, the is no sound for Solitaire Forever.
Sound in everything else on the deck is fine.
The sound works fine on my PC.

Ah, that's good to know. Thanks for reporting it. Sadly, I don't have a Steam Deck to run tests, but it might be beyond anything I could do anyway. OpenAL is used to play the sounds, so it just might be that it's not compatible with the Steam Deck. The game includes the OpenAL DLLs, so installation is not an issue. And of course, be sure that the audio in the game settings hasn't been muted. I'm sure you would know if it was, but I have to at least mention it. Thanks again for the feedback, I appreciate it!

Pretty cool game you got. Like the billion options for graphics and Solitaire versions.

Audio is also not working for me, playing on Linux Mint PC (for which virtually all Steam games work just fine, some with Steam Proton). Not muted, not a PC/OS setting issue.

Thanks for the feedback, and I'm happy you like the game!

I was mistaken when I said my app uses OpenAL. It actually uses a Windows Media Player library.

I do have newer source code using OpenAL. Perhaps it would work on the Steam Deck. I'll consider trying it in a future update.
